In diesem Jahr haben wir zwei ganz besondere Workshops für euch im Programm:

Boris Shershenkov nimmt euch mit auf einen Spaziergang, bei dem Licht zu Klang wird!
Wichtig: Beginn des Workshops ist bereits am Donnerstag um 19:00 Uhr. Teil zwei folgt dann am Samstag.

Volker Schütz gibt euch mit „I Scope“ einen spannenden Einblick in die kreative Arbeit mit Oszilloskopen.

„Lighthub“ ist eine faszinierende Reihe von Licht-Klang-Spaziergängen, des Künstlers Boris Shershenkov die die Teilnehmer:innen einlädt, die verborgenen Schichten der Lichtumgebung der Stadt auf synästhetische Weise zu entdecken. Mit Hilfe von speziell angefertigten phonoptischen Mikrofonen werden die Lichtströme und deren akustische Modulationen in Echtzeit erfasst.

In diesem Workshop bewegen sich die Teilnehmer:innen entlang einer Kartenpartitur, die sie auf einer klanglichen Reise durch die Stadt führt. Dabei sammeln sie während des Spaziergangs einzigartige Klangaufnahmen, die die unsichtbaren Verbindungen zwischen Licht und Klang sichtbar machen. Jede Route entfaltet sich zu einem einzigartigen Klangstück, das durch die Modulationen der Lichtströme geprägt wird.

Nach dem Spaziergang werden die gesammelten Aufnahmen kombiniert und als akusmatische Raumklanginstallation präsentiert, die die Vielfalt und die verborgene Harmonie der städtischen Lichtwelt in einem neuen Licht erscheinen lässt. Der Workshop bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, eine innovative künstlerische Praxis zu erleben, die sowohl die Sinne als auch das kreative Denken anregt.


“Lighthub” is a fascinating series of light-sound walks by artist Boris Shershenkov that invites participants to discover the hidden layers of the city’s light environment in a synaesthetic way. With the help of specially made phonoptic microphones, the light currents and their acoustic modulations are recorded in real time.

In this workshop, the participants move along a map score that leads them on a sonic journey through the city. During the walk, they collect unique sound recordings that make the invisible connections between light and sound visible. Each route unfolds into a unique sound piece that is shaped by the modulations of the streams of light.

After the walk, the collected recordings are combined and presented as an acousmatic spatial sound installation that sheds new light on the diversity and hidden harmony of the urban world of light. The workshop offers participants the opportunity to experience an innovative artistic practice that stimulates both the senses and creative thinking.

„I SCOPE“ ist ein Oszilloskop-Workshop für audio-visuelle Experimente. Ein multimedialer Einstieg in die alte Technik mit spielerischen, mathematischen und künstlerischen Elementen.
Im Workshop soll der Weg in die Welt der Oszilloskope soll so leicht und einfach wie möglich sein und ohne komplizierte Elektronik auskommen. Ein Notebook ist alles, was dazu nötig ist.
Damit werden wir die Grundlagen ausloten, einen Punkt erzeugen, dann eine Linie und dann eine kleine grafische Figur.
Und dabei den Ton nicht aus dem Blick verlieren. Denn jedes Bild im Oszilloskop hat ja automatisch einen entsprechenden Ton, der untrennbar mit ihm zusammenhängt.
Und mit beidem kann man spielen! :- )
Am Ende fügen wir die im Workshop erzeugten Bilder und Töne zu einem gemeinschaftlichen Werk zusammen. Vielleicht wird es ein Level aus einem Videospiel. Oder eine Mondlandung.

“I SCOPE” is an oscilloscope workshop for audio-visual experiments. A multimedia introduction to the old technology with playful, mathematical and artistic elements.
The aim of the workshop is to make the way into the world of oscilloscopes as easy and simple as possible without complicated electronics. A notebook is all that is needed.
We will use it to explore the basics, create a point, then a line and then a small graphic figure.
And not lose sight of the sound. Because every image in the oscilloscope automatically has a corresponding sound that is inseparable from it.
And you can play with both! :- )
At the end, we will combine the images and sounds created in the workshop into a joint work. Maybe it will be a level from a video game. Or a moon landing.
